Porro

Porro was founded in Brianza, the traditional birthplace of Italian quality furniture. Since 1925 the Porro family has run the firm in accord with a furnishing vision that unites the craft traditions of the time with the state-of-the-art production and computer technologies of today. The culture of furniture as a family heritage, together with the principles that govern production clean lines, regular forms, functionality have enabled Porro gradually to secure a large share of the international market. System NXT is the modifiable bookcase characterised by the typical open shelving that make it a piece of furnishing that is indispensable for the home and the working environment. This year it is presented in a carbone oak composition with an L-shape, which is enriched by the combination with new sliding doors made of glass or natural hemlock wood. Large two-dimensional screens, which break the horizontal continuity by introducing new materials, new colours and a new sense of movement.
