Active internationally, it works together with the major designers of the day. For over 50 years now it has been manufacturing the furniture created by the famous US designers, Charles and Ray Eames.
Vitra is convinced that rooms and interior design have a decisive influence on people's motivation, performance and health. So it has made it its mission to develop furniture and furnishing systems which stimulate, inspire and motivate, whilst also offering the body comfort, safety and support. In order to attain this goal, Vitra works with renowned designers and a specialised Vitra team. It experiments with new ideas, and is continuously tackling the new challenges of the world of work.
